Six Simple Steps
Step 1.Select your ideal car
Go to our Select a Vehicle page and complete the form detailing your particular requirements.
Step 2. M Sports will source your vehicle
We will source several options that fit the description of your ideal vehicle. You will have access to official pricing quotes. We do not charge for the sourcing of the vehicle.
Step 3. Purchase and Vehicle Inspection
We forward you the dealer’s invoice to pay direct by international money transfer. We will provide the necessary processes to complete the transaction, safe in the knowledge that your funds are going to reputable dealerships in the UK with high vehicle turn-over and cashflow.
Prior to sending the funds, the vehicle will go through a thorough inspection to ensure the vehicle is of the standard required by M Sports and our clients.
Photos and a video of the vehicle will be supplied, pre-purchase.
Step 4. Transportation
We arrange transportation of your vehiclefrom the UK dealership to New Zealand, ensuring the vehicle arrives safely. Your car will be insured for the entire trip.
A vehicle takes between 6 and 7 weeks on average to arrive.
Step 5. NZ Customs and Vehicle Inspection
Once your vehicle arrives in New Zealand it will require mandatory testing. All imported vehicles are thoroughly inspected by VINZ (Vehicle Inspections New Zealand), a Government agency. The buyer of the vehicle can view the purchase at this stage if they so wish. It will then be transported to the compliance centre where it will be issued with a Warrant of Fitness and 12 months registration.
Step 6. Delivery and NZ extras
After completing step 5 your vehicle will be groomed and is now ready for collection or, if you wish, delivery to anywhere in NZ. Subject to the delivery location, there may be a delivery fee to cover costs such as fuel, ferry and staff.
We can arrange for your vehicle to have the NZ navigation system installed. We are happy to provide quotes from respected suppliers or you can deal with them direct. If required, we can ensure the vehicle has the instrument changed to KM’s.
